One of our favourite things to do when we travel to a place near the sea is eating seafood buffet in China. We really love eating seafood buffet in China. Gabriel and Aurora love to play with the little sea critters before we take them to the table, cook them and then eat them.

The above picture was taken (2020) in Qinhuangdao. This coastal city which is about 5 hours drive from our home in Baoding. We make the trip about 4 or 5 times a year and try a different seafood buffet restaurant each time. So far, we haven’t been disappointed!

We Love Eating Seafood Buffet in China

The meals cost about 400 yuan (about 45 pounds) for all four of us. We can eat for about 2 hours and everything is included in the price. Most buffets include unlimited seafood, drinks, including beer and all the snacks and side dishes you can eat.

If you like your seafood, then I promise you will always find a great buffet restaurant in all the seaside towns and cities.

We Love Seafood so Much we Cook it all the Time

Here Gabriel and I are looking very pleased with ourselves after we cooked up this feast. Crabs and prawns made up most of the meal with fish and oysters added as well. We both like a dip that is a little spicy on the side.
